I'm going to say that is pretty normal. I know Jasmine and Hailey play the same way. It usually starts out with one grabbing at the back ankles of the other one. However, if one bites to hard the other will yelp and play usually stops...for a moment.

Update

Thanks to everyone for the healing vibes, they must be working! Today her eye looks so much better. It's still swollen and very red, but she is back to trying to play (kind of hard with the big plastic collar around her head), eating and drinking normal. And of course, wagging and wiggling! She is being a very good girl and taking all of her medicine--3 things in all. I just feel kind of bad for her because it's very hard for her to use her front paws and hold her toys or bones because the plastic collar gets in the way. Right now we are just treating her like a princess!

Glad to hear she's doing better! I always feel so bad for dogs when they have to wear that collar. :o Sending lots of boxer kisses that she continues to get better!
