I was looking at my baby last night. She is almost 8 months old. I was wondering where this big girl came from. It was only 6 months ago I brought home this little 7 pound bundle of energy. Where did this 50+ pound bundle of energy come from? I was remembering her first few days when she was happiest curled up on the recliner right next ro me. lovicon She'd stretch her little body out next to my left hip and sleep. WAIT - she still does that, just a lot less room in the chair for me now. And at night she'd curl up next to me and sleep. OH YEAH she still does that too, just not as much bed for me anymore. When I would come home from work she would wiggle that little butt and push her little body up against me, giving me love. YES she still does that but now I have to make sure I have my balance first or down I'll go. Where did my cute little puppy go? She has become a beautiful, loving young lady. Still completely puppy, but so beautiful you don't mind a 50+ pound puppy. What did I do before her?

I have had those same revelations with Coco. Just yesterday I looked at some pictures of her when we first brought her home in March and then I look at the ones now...Amazing isn't it? I thought to myself...what a sweet little baby...now I have even MORE To love...and I do love my Coco more than I ever knew I could lovicon. Boxers are wonderful aren't they?

i look at my Duke like that. We brought him home when he was 7 weeks old and now, in October he will be 5! I still have his first coller. We had to make a different hole in it to make it smaller and now he has this big massive neck! He gets mad at me when I bring it out and show it to people. He comes and trys to get it away from me. :D I think that he is embarrased! Then Mason I have had him for just over 3 years and he has come such a long way from when he was rescused. He also will be 5 this year. He has changed so much! Where does the time go. I have always heard people talk like this about their skin kids and didnt truely understand it till I had my fur babies. They just grow up so fast.

I swear, every...single...day Sirus gets bigger and bigger. I went to say bye to him before I left for work this morning, and mind you...I see him everyday...and he's gotten big! I don't know what's going on. I mean he's only 19 months and I know he's still growing...but to look bigger after only 12 hours?! Maybe 'twas just me!

Everytime I notice he's put on some weight or has just gotten bigger, I said to him, "Dang fatty! You better be careful...you're gettin' chunky!"
He just looks at me like..."What the...?! Are you talking to me?!"
I hope he doesn't take me too seriously
Wouldn't want him to develope some sort of weight complex!
It's an on-going joke in my family about Sirus being fat...because he is so NOT fat! He's got like 0% body fat...he's just fun to tease!

I know exactly what you mean. I wonder were my sweet little ankle biter went. Sometimes I wish I could still hold him because now at 80 lbs he is a lap full.

Mason was 11 pounds at 8 weeks and had the cutest pink nose. Now at 2.5, he's almost 70 pounds and only has one tiny pin-prick of pink left. I've watched his nose change as my boy becomes a man! OK, more of a teenager, with all the inherent rambunctiousness that entails, but he's still so darn cute!!!

I get that feeling when I have tug's laying in my lap snoring away. It is like whre did my 7 lb, 7 week puppy go. I would take him to my mom's he would play a little bit and then sleep for 3 hours. Now I am lucky if he sleeps for an hour when we are over there.

I know when I get home from work though I will get lots of boxer love, and he will want to play. But those were the days of the little bundle of love.

I can't believe my baby girl is already 4! Where does the time go?? I remember how she curled up on my Mom's lap to sleep on the car ride home--she was such a tiny little thing :) Now she is 75 pounds of pure love, joy, and happiness! She still has her little pink chin, though (well, it might be a bit bigger.....).

I know what you mean!! Ali turns 8 months old tomorrow and I was sitting with him last night and thinking the exact same thing!! How fast they grow!! It's wonderful though...wouldn't have it any other way!!

I've been wondering the same thing A LOT lately! Paisley was 8 months on Aug. 6th, and I've had her for 7 months(on the 22nd), and cannot believe how much she has grown! It's seems like I just got her last week or something! We took her to my breeder's earlier this evening to get groomed, and they've not seen her(except pics) since June, and they were so surprised at how big she's gotten. She's had a growth sput since June because she was about 19 and 3/4in when she got spayed(June 16th) and 44lbs. Now she's right at or right under 22in. and about 50lbs! Jeez how theses babies grow so fast!
