I am in total agreement with everyone else here.
Cami is beautiful & not fat at all.
Some people really need to follow that old saying..if you can't say anything nice then don't say anything at all

I agree with everyone else. Cami is a pretty girl. Dont let what those people said bother you.
I have been told many times that I shouldnt have white boxers just because they are white or how many people have said what a freaky looking dog Zeus is just because is a very tall boxer. I just let what was roll off me like water off a duck.

Okay, now we can't have tall boxers, thick boxers, white boxers, short boxers, thin boxers, fat boxers.....if only all humans were as perfect as some seem to think our boxers should be. Jeeez, if all boxers looked identical how we we know which of our boxers was being mischievious when they are playing together? I have not seen a boxer on anyone's gallery that I wouldn't just love to grab and hug and kiss their mushy face.

i do notice that with my grandmother and my husband's grandmother, they sometimes tend to say things out loud they shouldnt- it's like the filter was turned off at some point- every boxer is different and cute so dont worry

i went right up to a boxer outside our polling place this morning and just showered her with affection...does she look anything like our cassius, of course not!

Thanks everyone for all of the great things you have said about my girl. I guess I was just in need of some ego boosting reguarding her (non-weight) issue after the comments received earlier on the walk.

They are all different and unique. Some a little wider-taller-bigger-smaller- than others but each just as lovely as the next.

Beautiful Boxer

Your boxer is beautiful if anything those people probably had a boxer that was on the skinny side. Rush is about 50 lbs and our vet told us he is on the skinny side, but he is not big on food just big on treats.

We were just feeding him dry food... but he's on the skinny side so we had to start feeding him wet food hoping he would not lose weight with all of his activity.

If anything I would love Rush to be more of Cami's weight size because I think she is perfect size. I don't like when dogs look too skinny. Same with people.

I think it is unattractive when the ribs show too much on both dogs and animals.

I looked through your gallery and your baby is just perfect...I truly see no fat on her. She is muscular... Some boxers are very petite and some are not. My Roxi is a petite little girl..

She looks perfectly allright to me! I see nothing "chubby" about her... Keep your head up, and don't let people bring you down. Your baby is beautiful.

One of my stock replies to rude comments such as my dogs' weight or whatever is: "Oh, and my dog was just saying such nice things about you. Guess he misjudged you completely" and then I move on. Let them stew on it for a while.

Look at the source and forget it. Your dog looks great. I get that all the time about Susie (Is she pregnant?). No she's at a good weight for her build and because she's short from tail to nose, it SEEMS she's chubby compared to Maggie who is very long and lean.

I keep a close eye on my dogs weight. Susie did get a bit over the limit at one time and we cut out treats and lessened her food and she dropped the excess weight in no time at all.

Interestingly, I get questions about Maggie being too skinny. All her ribs show and have always done so. But she is one healthy dog accordingly to my vet and has boundless energy (sigh!) and is extremely active and those who know boxers always tell me how beautifully muscular she is. And she is. Her muscles are tones and you can see them move and work as she moves and walks and plays. It is a joy for me to see her run and exercise as she does because she reminds me of the finest thoroughbred horses.

I agree with everyone here, after checking out your gallery - your Cami is beautiful, and looks like she's in fine form. Sometimes people make thoughtless comments, and I understand that it can get to you. We are so proud of our babies, and want everyone to say nice things about them. But they don't always. Thank goodness they are in the minority; most people admire and really enjoy seeing a boxer, because they are so unique in appearance. Anway, Cami girl is a beauty, no doubt about it!!
