Thanks for the directions. So far Rocky Hoya will be there for sure! We will definetely be taking our digital camera and we can post pictures on BW! I am going to check for the weather too. See you all at the dog park at noon this Sunday.

Riley and I will be there too in Sunday! Just to forewarn you Riley has a tail...a few weeks ago we were at a dog park a few weeks ago and other boxer owners didn't recognize her because she had a tail =(

Riley won't be the only Boxer with a tail. I am hoping that my Boxer, Wallace, and I can meet up with y'all on Sunday. Wallace is a spayed, 1 y.o., fawn with a curly tail. She loves to play chase and has never played with Boxers before though she loves to go to the dog parks in DC.

The dog park wont know what him them. LOL. I know I will be in boxer heaven. Was anyone planning on visiting the barkery afterwards? We like to just walk over for a treat and check out any new collars.

Yeah! A Boxer Bash!!

Hey Everyone, Really going to try and make it on Sunday. I live in Alexandria and let me tell you, we have some awesome doggie parks here! I currently have a little foster boxer, George, who is recovering from leg surgery. Obviously he can't play but, Bella would love to be surrounded by boxers and boxer lovers. Boxer heaven!!

We hope to see you and your babies on Sunday maybe next time you can tell us which dog parks are the biggest and best. This one is pretty big and nice but there might be better ones for next time. Poor George maybe he can make it next time I hope he feels better.

Doggie Parks in Alexandria

There are, I think, 9 dog parks but not all are fenced. Bella's favorite is at Cameron Station which is located in the Landmark section of town (a few miles from where I95 mets I395. Everyone there is really super friendly. Not the story at some of the parks, unfortunately. The park is a pretty good size and the surrounding park is really nice. There is a lake but no dogs allowed so we all go down to the creek and get really wet! The only negative thing about the dog parks here is that very few, 1 I think, actually have drinking water. So it's a must to remember to bring some for your furbaby (and you!). The city has a link on their website that lists all of the parks. I'll try to find it and post it.
