As I was reading this I was hoping you would keep tyson.
You souind like a really great guy to be so thoughtful, but maybe you handed to much over to her too easily. You shouldn't have to buy someone's affection.
While I admire your concern for the little girl and her love for the dog, I agree with others that the mom may not follow through with proper care, or the Tyson may be disposed of in some manner becasue of behavior. If you think they would care for it properly, maybe substitute a lower maintence pet, like a kitten. It's unfortunate that this child has such an immature thrill seeking mother.
So how old are you ?? I have a 21 yr old daughter that loves boxers. Not sure how she feels about motorcycles though.
