Hello from Illinois. I am a boxer lover. I am sad to say that I do not currently own a boxer. I owned a dark brindle female and a male fawn. We lost them both around Memorial Day of this year. They say time heals all wounds, but I am not so sure. My heart is heavy and I look at my pictures of my babies every day. Saddie was 11. She died of Cancer. It was a very sad day for my children. Our family was beginning to cope well with loosing our beloved friend when suddenly, without warning, our Duke died. It had only been five days since we lost Saddie. The vets opinion was that Duke had a heart attact induced by grieving for his mate. He died of a broken heart at the age of 10. My children are already begging for a new puppy. I'm not sure this mom is ready, but one thing is Certain, It will be a boxer!!

Thank you so much for the welcome. I will most likely give in to my children and get them a puppy soon. As it has been many years since I have had a pup, I am nervous about training a new one. I plan on utilizing this site for lots of advice.
