He is ao handsome. I believe he was meant for you and your family. It works out well with him being a male. Our last addition was Cat, a female and it took quite a bit of work. I connot wait to hear what you name him.
Cat.. Welll thats another subject.. He's NOT fond of cats, and this has been scary, so we may be rehoming our two that we took in last year.. I really hate to, but.. in reality, the ppl that were going to dump them at the pound, had declawed them, and they want sooo bad to be outdoors, and everytime I open a door, I have to chase after them. It scares me to death! As we have coyote, bobcat, and fox here.. and they wouldn't have a chance!
I have a rescue group that is working with me, as I want to make sure that they stay together.. and that they are in a very loving home that can assure their safety.. keeping them INDOORS..Someone with a nice screened lanai / patio would be nice, as they sooo want to be outdoors sometimes.
And thank you.. He is a nice looking boy.. I was suprised when I saw him! Needs to put on a bit of weight, but that will come in time.
Trust me, soon as I come up with his name.. you all will hear it!
Blessings..
srsniffsalot;1256267]I also read your post when Tatanka passed and was so overwhelmed by the story. I cried for hours, esp after seeing the pics of what they did to him. Absolutely brutal! I hope that they get what is coming to them. I am so GLAD to hear that you have a precious new boy. He looks like such a sweetie. I agree with the others, things happen for a reason and I think this new addition is just what you need to start picking up the pieces. I know that Tatanka will never be replaced or forgotten, but with your new man in the picture at least maybe it won't be so hard. I look forward to hearing what happens with the vet![/QUOTE]
Thank you.. I can't tell you how many times it still hits me when I see these pics.. as I've used Craigslist over and over to post and warn ppl. I'm just shocked by all the emails that I get from others that tell me of their own horror stories about this specific vet hospital that killed my precious TaTanka.. I will definately keep all updated on the progress..
And yes, the new guy does help fill a terrible void.. It was lonely with out our boy around.. and Sequoia, Mum, and I are all happier now.. I think that the "new guy" is kinda happy to be in his FOREVER Home too!
