New Boxer Owner

Hi,

My family have just adopted a 20 month old Brindle Female Boxer. This is our first Boxer and hope it's the right dog for us. We've done our homework and wanted a dog that would fit into our lifestyle. We've decided on a older dog because we both work and wanted to be able to leave the dog for extended period of time. This was a very tough decision because we wanted a puppy but knew a puppy wasn't the right choice for us or the dog. Hopefully she'll work out for both of us. We pick her up on Friday.

Good luck with yoru new dog, we were suppsoed to adopt a 2 year old boxer from a breeder who had nine house dogs and this poor guy was getting picked on by the oldest of the nine. But for some reason it feel through still not sure why. Take care and good luck.
