Well, good morning! We have now had other inquiries about Moses but I want everyone to know that Eric inquired first so he will be given the first opportunity to meet Moses and we'll see if he is a good match for Eric and his wife and Jedi. Our web site now reflects that Moses has a waiting list so that we are not overwhelmed with inquiries.
I picked Moses up initially and held him for a couple of days before transferring him to a different foster home (I have WAY too many at my house already). Moses had trouble settling down the first night (barking in the crate, driving Lucy crazy with wanting to play with her) so I took him into the guest room with me. He kept walking on me and just couldn't settle down. I finally said, "For the love of God, Moses, please lay down!" But he just licked my face and walked on me some more. Fortunately he finally settled down - about 3 hours before my alarm went off.
Moses has been passed around to one irresponsible person after another, so what he really needs now is stability and training.
I want to say thanks to those who commented about Hunny and Arlo. Both are wonderful dogs. Arlo is a bit of a curmudgeon and is a tough placement because he isn't that great with other dogs, and Hunny's white face seems to scare a lot of people away. But we know their day will come. We have found homes for ten-year-old Boxers in the past, so I know someone will come along for these two.
