I think this is pretty odd advice coming from a vet. Neutering really doesn't affect growth. There are many huge boxers that have been neutered and many small boxers that are intact. Its more genetics than anything else.

That is a myth (that neutering stunts growth) and I seriously cannot believe that ANY vet would say that (personally I'd find a new vet).

Ditto and Ditto - Rowdy is a giraffe compared to other boxers and he was fixed around 7 months.
