I have to agree with the confusion part with 2 M names...and I speak from experience. We named our first 4 dogs Molly, Bear, Sugar and Gus, all of which are very distinct. Then we named girl #5 Maggie. Now when we say Molly or Maggie, both girls look up. They quickly figure out which one we're talking to by seeing which one we're looking at, but still I wish we had thought about that...
I'd go with something that sounded very different than Maggie. There's my 2 cents
