Boxer Pal
This is probably going to appear like the strangest post but my wife and I are at our wit's end and need the board's input.
Our 2 1/2 yr old daughter Coco has been super strange since the Weekend. It started Saturday night when she was on our bed and started to shake tremendously. We had had scattered T-storms so I didn't really worry to much.
Then last evening, the same thing more or less happened. My wife was on the couch and Coco jumped up with her and was visibly scared. She was shaking as before and kept looking up at the celing and light fixture (or perhaps moving her nose up to smell?). I am really not sure, but there were no storms last night. It appears to me that she is either seeing or smelling something that is making her frieghtened. I got her on a leash and walked her throughout the house and it seemed like there was not any place she didn't want to go, just a general level of discomfort.
Last night she wouldn't go on top of our bed. Keep in mind that almost every night of her life is spent below all the sheets at the end of the bed, with her head resting on somebody's leg and taking up at least 1/2 the King size bed. Mostly she slept on the floor next to my wife, and when we took her out to go potty, she ended up going to sleep in her crate. The only time she spends in her crate normally is when we have some dinner guests and i don't want her to slobber over everyone.
So does anyone know the deal with my dog? Right now she is in her crate and doesn't really look excited about coming out. Should I call a Vet, Psychologist, or Exorcist?
TIA
Coco's concerned Dad.
