Well I just want to let you know that in about a month or so I would love to have another bash. My Wilson is only 10 weeks old right now, and so he's a bit too young to be going to an off leash park. I can't wait to join you though and I just want to let you know that pretty soon you'll have another Boxer buddy (Jenette can you believe we finally got him?? After all that posting hehe)!! We can go to any park in the Chicago-land area. Anything to let Wills play with other Boxers! :p

joliet dog park

I replied to dancat earlier about the joliet/shorewood park...the have or are planning to build an area inside of the seven acre park for smaller dogs. I'm not sure part of IL you're from, so I don't know if it would be worth it to check it out! I'm not sure what the deal is...if it's "little dogs" or if they'll allow "big dog" puppies in there. Boxer pups are just so...how do I put it...liable to use poor little "Shmoopsie-poopsie" as a springboard!! But hey, I say if it looks like a springboard.... A little boxer-slobber never hurt anyone!

Hi there! I just want to say that several other boxer bashes we've had have had puppies that age or even younger there...at least at Mayslake which is fenced in. The 11th or 12th would work just fine for me too....RVsBoxer, we'd love to have you there!!! Please re-think showing up!!!

It's Saturday right? I was a little confused- we said Sunday, then we said the 11th, which is Saturaday. Either is ok with me, I may just go both days!

I can't do it Sunday, I forgot I have a benefit walk to go to...I'm gonna try to sneak Rocco in
Saturday still works.

Well...

Let me ask my vet and see what he thinks. When I got Wilson my breeder told me it's probably best to wait till he's 3.5-4 months old, or even better after he has had his rabies shot. I guess cause he's more vulnerable to catch things from other dogs, or get hurt?? I am thinking we could come over if it's real early in the morning and there wouldn't be a lot of other dogs around. I trust all the Boxerworld doggies, but not sure about others! I'll call my vet today and let you know what I decide to do. Thanks
