Nervous Mommy

I am a first time boxer mommy and my vet reccomends that pups not go to dog parks until they have finished their vaccination cycles. Am I just being a nervous Mommy or should I hold off. HELP PLEASE!!!!! Raising three kids was a piece of cake. I don't remember worrying so much, or maybe I did and I just don't know?!

I know exactly how you feel Roady's Mom. I was told the same thing by my breeder. I was thinking of going to the bash yesterday, but I remembered that WIlson had his first puppy playtime at 11.30. He also had his first puppy kindergarten at 3.30. I figured it would be too much for him in one day. And I still don't feel comfortable about bringing him to an off leash dog park until he has had all his shots.

Sorry guys for not letting you know ahead of time. I hope you all had a great time and I PROMISE, when Wilson is old enough I will bring him to the next bash! :) He only has like a little over a month to go :p

Is there anyone wanting to get together for a Boxer Bash Day? this weekend is suppose to be nice and cool...,I go to the Naperville Dog Park (75th and Greene) almost everyday and I had only seen 3 other Boxers besides my Madalynn. The park is really nice and there is a bench and a walking path. I was hoping for this Saturday in the mid-morning or afternoon. Sunday will not work due to the fact that there are football games all day! I hope that there will be some people that will want to go and watch our boxers go nutty!

I go to that Doggy Park like EVERYDAY! If I do not go...,Madalynn gets really rowdy! Next weekend would work for me as well!

October 9th sounds like a plan for me. I am there everyday! I was there the other night and there were a total of 5 boxers including my Madalynn! It was allot of fun! Why not lets plan for next Saturday! mid-mornning?

Around 10-11??? Is that OK??? I have had a Saturday off in awhile and I am dying to sleep in a little! Anyone know of any other parks...
