I'm soooo happy I blew the rear end in my truck and it's been sitting since April, I had a few things to get, IE: the differential, a lowering kit and exhaust, well, I have it all now, thanks to the headers my parents got me for Christmas, so now she'll be back on the road in the summer for sure, she's in a nice heated garage being worked on as we speak, I probably could have done the work myself but then I would run into problems, I got a diff out of a 79 Bronco (9 inch) with a 4.11 gear, so it doesn't quite bolt up to my truck (1996 Dodge RAM 1500 5.2 auto), I got a belltech drop fit (4in front and 6 in back), and I had to change the exhaust cuz I got hasseled alot by Johnny Law (it's presently a hollow cat with a glass pack on the end of it)
So she's being put together now, boy I can't wait until summer, I gonna take it to a beach at sunrise and take pictures of it with Boxxy in the box, oooohhhhh I can't wait, I'm so anxious, can't stop thinking about it:D :D :D :D :D :D

Glad to hear your truck is on the mend!! Now send positive vibes for my husbands poor truck that we have yet to figure out what's wrong with it!!!

Sorry, basically, it'll be low and fast and loud, wich pretty much what I want, I don't know how well the ((((((((((healing vibes))))))))))) will do for your husbands truck but all the luck to ya, I know it sucks when your baby is broken

Tell him about it!! He's been driving his mom's station wagon for the last month!!! HaHa!!! My 'New' Ford Explorer is doing me just fine, so I have no problems!!

I think it's an '85 or '86 Chevy 3/4 ton. Big tires, up high, long bed, and all that!! He had an '86 GMC that burnt to the ground one night on the way to my parents house that he will never quit blaming me for!!! But - that's why he can't fix this one by himself!! No more flaming trucks on the side of the highway an hour from home!!!

sounds nice I bet he really misses it, I know I miss mine, actually I've been dreaming about it for a couple weeks now, especially since it's winter, it's so much fun with a truck in the snowy parking lots and whatnot, I guess you could say boys and their toys, eh?

Blazer 87-Harsh man, I get that same treatment from all my friends, everyone I know is Chevy all the way, as far as your Blazer, I have a buddy with an 88 4x4, with 350 (approx 300hp) and the wickedest tranny I've ever seen, he had our tranny guy build one for him, the front wheels lift when he floors it at about 20 m/h, the camaro looks like it has some garage time and beers, until you get to drive it around, I like that body style, btw, to bad it's bowtie:D

KRisten, you had a '79 Trans AM?!?! We are in the process of restoring one with t-tops and all. IT's a Black Special Edition ( I think special and not limited, but who knows ;) ) It's my hubby's baby! It's gonna be so cool when it hits the road!
