Hey everyone I got a new puppy Boxer. We named her Jab. She is a flashy fawn and she is just 2 months old. I came onto this site to get some help on how to deal with a puppy boxer. She is 2 months old and she snores already, and does not listen. When I walk her outside she sometimes won't walk and will jsut sit therte and she bites everything including my fingers. I was jst wondering if this is normal because I have read that this is the time to teach her things and she should be able to listen.

Hi and Welcome to you and Jab! :) There is a lot of excellent information in the Puppy Forums and Training Forum that will help you with your little girl. She sounds like a normal puppy! She's still a baby :) With positive training methods, patience, consistency and a lot of love, she will learn. Boxers are very, very smart.

A big hello and welcome slurps from me and Minxie! Just be patient, she will learn, Boxers are very strong willed. They need to know that you are the boss ...no really. ;) My best word to use and I use it often is "settle".

Welcome to you and Jab and congratulations.

Jab sounds like a normal puppy. An 8 week old puppy is just a baby so don't expect her to do things just because you want her to do them. Puppies and all dog need to be taught what is expected from them. The puppy forum on Boxer World and the Boxer FAQ has lots of information. Just remember that a puppy is a work in progress. Sometime you take one forward and two steps backward but if you are consistent and give your girl lots of love, praise ,treats and show her patiences she will want to please you. Good luck.
