Thanks everyone. I am just so angry. I love that cat dearly and I can't imagine her being torn apart by dogs. I honestly was so hysterical at first that I thought she was going to die. After taking her to the vet and making sure she was stabile, my next instinct was to hunt those dogs down. I was livid. Thank God my husband talked some sense into me. I don't know what I would have done, but it wouldn't have been good.

Here's a list of my complaints:

1. Dogs behind house bark 24 hours. They are enclosed on a tiny deck, while they are all fairly large.

2. Lady next door has a small cat farm with 15 cats and growing.

3. People across from us have a loose and very territorial i.e. growling, snarling, barking, pacing Akita.

4. Guy on other side of me has a St. Bernard who craps, pisses, eats my lighted walkway and digs the pine bark out of my garden.

5. Dog from up the street, with the help of a black dog and the St. Bernard, spread my trash out on the lawn despite investing in 3 different types of locking trash cans.

6. 3 dogs attempt to eat my cat in my yard.

7. The St. Bernard is busily digging for China in my front yard. My neighbor apologizes profusely and then 10 minutes later here he comes again, paws at the ready.

8. Nothing animal related, but the guys up the street rev engines on Fridays and Saturdays.

9. The cats from next door sleep on my patio furniture and they are very furry.

10. The dogs knock over my patio furniture chasing the cats and I have to go and right it again, not to mention retrieving the cushions and sometimes replacing it entirely.

11. And my biggest pet peeve of them all. *drumroll* They bring trash from everywhere and leave it all over my yard. I have found tubes of Lamisil, kitty litter bags (a pan once, too), toys, sponges, plastic containers, and my favorite, diapers.

What can I do? I am fencing my yard in april, but geez, there has to be some kinda relief. Am I just being too touchy here? this seems like a lot of abuse for a person who doesn't even own a dog at the moment.

Wendi:confused:

Welcome to life, some people have it better than others. Only you can know how to handle some of those situations and if you let them get to you without doing everything possible to prevent them or correct them you will be miserable. This is your life you can change anything in it if it means enough to you, i'm sure you deserve the lifestyle you want, go get it. Good luck.

Call the SPCA in your county. If the dogs are running lose, they will pick them up. Call enough and they will do something. Too many cats running lose, go buy a raccon trap. Put some tuna in there and when you catch one, call the SPCA to pick up. I took care of a big cat problem in my old neighborhood that way, made a lot of my neighbors happy too. I could tell you how to fix the dogs peeing on stuff, but since it may break boxerworld rules, I can't tell ya on here, it really works though!!
Oh, I resemble #8, a guy has to have some fun.
Hang in there, went through all the neighbor and animal stuff at old house, took it for 3 1/2 yrs and had to move.
