My little one went to heaven today

It started out such a good morning. We played and cuddled. Then she got off her chain and bolted out into the street, which she knew better and never ever left the back yard, got hit by a car at 10:00 am this morning. I flew her to the vet and they took x-rays and checked her vitals and said she'd be fine and wanted to keep her overnight so they made me leave then they called me 15 minutes later and told me they were losing her and to get back there as soon as possible. I got back to see her fighting to breathe and layin on the table lifeless. They said she wasn't getting oxygen and her femoral pulse was dropping. I had to make a decision and I had to let her go and stop the suffering. My baby died in my arms at 1 1/2 years old at 11:30 am this morning. Today is the absolute worst day of my life and I really don't know how to get over this. Any advice would be great. Thanks...

I so very sorry you've lost your beloved baby in such tragic circumstances - my heart goes out to you. I don't thing there is anything I can say to help you just now, except I do know how hard it is to loose a much loved boxer - give yourself time to get over the shock and grieve. Run free at the bridge little girl.

I am so sorry for the tragic loss of your baby. I also lost one of my babies years ago the same way. She got loose and we could not catch her. She made it across the street but coming back she was hit by a car. We held our baby in our arms while she took her last breath. Please give yourself time to heal. Your baby is running pain free at the Rainbow Bridge with all of our babies,chasing butterflies and laying in the tall green grass. My Abby will take good care of her she was always the mothering type. Godspeed sweet . Watch over your mommy because she misses you so much...Hugs Linda

I am so sorry! Loosing a baby suddenly is so hard. I lost Snubby suddenly almost two months ago now and I am still crying over her, it just takes time. You are in my prayers during this tough time.

Snubby and Gertie, you two look out for Maria's little girl up there at the bridge.

I'm so sorry you lost your sweet baby so young ... my heart goes out to you. I just lost my Scooby-Girl less than two days ago and I haven't stopped crying yet. It doesn't matter if they are 1 or 10 - pain is the same! Please know that she is breathing just fine in heaven with my little girl and all the other boxer angels.
