my little man is unwell

hi everyone, my little man tigger (6mths) is unwell poor baby - yesterday afternoon about 5pm he was really out of sorts all he wanted to do was sleep and sleep he did, offered him dinner not the lest interested in it (not like him at all he is usually the garbo guts of the house) so we knew he wasn't well. he hasn't eaten since 10am yesterday and not drunk anything since about 5pm, we tried to wake him to take him out for a wee before bed and we ended up carrying him out because when we got him on his feet he just snuggled back into his beanbag for more sleep but he eventually did a wee and then went to bed - mummy didn't get much sleep though i was constantly checking on him - he was very unresponsive - around 2am he was whimpering and trying to get up but having trouble so daddy carried him out for another wee then he wanted to sleep with us - of course he was allowed. the same again this morning we had trouble waking him and when we did you could tell he wasn't right the only one to get him up on his own was brandy after 3 attempts she finally got him with a ball but he couldn't play didn't have the energy. he was still the little wiggle butt baby but very very lacking in energy and still not wanting food or water - he did have a little water but only what mummy sprayed from her water bottle but it was a start.

i took him to the vets as soon as they were open this morning and Penny has kept him for observation for the day - i'm going to ring and see how he is. she didn't find any ticks which was my fear, i hope nothing else has bitten him or he hasn't eaten something he shouldn't have, his temparture was normal this morning - it wouldn't have been last night, i'm hoping its just an upset tummy and he's just being a normal male and playing it for everything he can get atlest he is in good care with Penny (the vet - she loves him) could you guys please send some healing vibes for my little man as his mummy is very scared and hates to see him so ill and i know about these vibes from bw. and his big sister brandy wants him back - she was running away whimpering because he wouldn't respond to her - she has gone out in sympathy with him - she wouldn't eat her breakfast - treat yes breakie no, and she will be missing him today poor baby.

same symptoms

It sounds like Mya, 3 1/2 months, has the same symptoms tigger has. all of a sudden she became lethargic and would whine a lot. she still eats and drinks but we have to bring the food and water to her b/c she is having difficulty getting up. she can stand and walk some times but is very weak. the vet gave us antibiotics. it has been two days now that she has been like this. the vet does not know what it is. she has an appointment this afternoon so hopefully Tigger and Mya can get to the bottom of this. I will check back periodically to see if you learned anything new and as soon as we find something out we will post it.
