I just had to tell all of you that our boxers, Lexi and Minnie got along great at the beach!! They had a blast...at least their face expressions and nubs told us that. :D
First of all, it took us about 16 hours to get there instead of 12 hours. And they did great in the back seat. They slept most of the time. But everytime we stopped the car, they got a potty break and a sip of water. And they were so excited. Then there were the times, when I'd look back at them and they looked at me like.."This is soooooo boring." But the ride went well.
As far as the beach. We'd take them for a log walk in the morning down the beach. At first they were afraid of the water and would run away from the waves. Eventually they would run toward the waves..and then run away from them again. LOL I wish I had a video of that. But they ended up getting hit by waves and would just stand there. They would take sip of water..but they didn't like that.
But anyway, I was concerned about taking them to the beach. But we are glad we took them. appicon
