glad to hear she went through her surgery well . I have not got any answers other that it will take time , and I guess it will . She seems to be limping a bit less now when she doesn't over do it which is almost always . definitely keep us posted on ms.ali's progress . I know it will be a long night for you but hope you don't worry lo much as must of us would.

I called first thing this morning to see how my girl is doing. She had a good night. She was up this am and out of her cage and walking a little bit - of couse she's not putting any weight on her leg. I can't wait until tomorrow afternoon to get her home with me so I'll know for sure how she's doing. She's not one to whine or fuss and I say she's as tough as nails. It's so quite here without her. Bailey is just throwing his toy around thinking she will come and get it. I'll call again this afternoon to see how's she's doing. I hate that I can't go see her but I know it for the best. I keep telling myself just one more day - just one more day.

Well Ms. Ali came home yesterday evening. First of all the vet said to leave her pain med. on for another two days and when they brought her out for us to take home the technician had the patch removed. She said the vet said to take it off. So off her and another tech. go and come back and said OH we'll put another one on. Poor Ms. Ali comes back with a huge gauze patch on and the girl said there was a new patch under the gauze. We left and as just as we got home the patch fell off. I called and I was upset. It's 1/2 hr. drive back to the vet's office to get another one put on. My poor girl was so exhaused and just after having surgery a few days ago didn't have a lot of strength. They put another one on and we brought her home. She threw up a tiny bit last night but ate and drank. She slept all night but is definitely not herself. Then I feed her little bits by hand and then she got sick again this am and had diaherria. Now she's eating since and drinking lots but looking to go out on our deck. I don't know if she should cause if someone comes by she'll be jumping and barking and she can't do that with her leg. I think the antibiotics might be causing her to be loose. I'm going to get some chicken and boil it for her. I'm supposed to start exercises but her poor leg is swollen and I don't think she's up to it yet. I'm massasing her upper leg above the incision and putting ice on her leg as prescribed. I'm worried that that new patch is too strong for her. The tech. said she spoke to the doctor and he said to put a new one on. I'm wondering if he even knows. I did try to speak to hm but he was with patients. So pls. keep her in your prayers. I know it will take awhile be all better but I don't like her having diaherria. She just had it again. I know I have to watch for dehydration. I'm going to call the vet now and let them know what's going on.

wow , I hope you get the vet so you can put your mind at ease . I know it will probably just take time and may look worse than it is. Hope things start looking better.

I phoned the vet and he told me to take the pain med off. It's call Fenn----and the antibiotics for now. She's just on them for precaution. But her incision is fine. So she starts taking her antiinflamatory pill tomorrow. I boiled her some chicken and she's eaten some and she's wagging her little nub which she didn't do since yesterday since we picked her up. But she's still so unsettled. She's wimpering again. Better go see what's wrong.

I'm glad Ms Ali is home and her surgery went well. I'm sending lots of healthy vibes for her and patience vibes for you since it must be hard dealing with everything. I just can't imagine trying to keep a boxer calm through all of the recovery and therapy she will need. But I'm sure in no time she will be back to her old self.

So good to read that Ms. Ali's surgery went well. It will take a couple of weeks to get back normal. Wishing Ali well :)

The light is back in her sweet eyes. She slept throughout the night. No more vomiting and diaherria since she came off the narotic pain med. I'm going to try her back on her antibiotics little bit at a time if she tolerates it. She's eating well now and let me put her heat and then ice on her leg. She was really good at letting me do her exercise. I kept her busy with treats and gently moved her leg. But her nub is going faster all the time now and it's so good to see. I sure did miss that little nub wiggling. She's not putting any weight on her leg but I'm hoping today she won't be as anxious as yesterday. She was up and down every five minutes. So far today she's doing good. She started on her anti inflamatory pills today which should help.

Thanks everyone for all you good wishes and pls. keep them going. She has a long way to go. I'll update later. Now if my poodle would only stay quite and let her rest.
