Magic,

I have been dreading today with my whole heart but it's no different than any of your other birthdays. I always felt so sad when you got another year older. To me, celebrating your birthday was always painful and now as I think of you I remember the sadness I felt when you started getting those silver hairs around your sweet squishy muzzle. Now, I no longer get the privilege of spoiling you on your birthday with "I wish you were younger hugs". Happy Brithday sweet Magic Girl. You were my dream come true. You were everything I ever wanted in a best friend. I will never, never forget your beautiful spirit and heart. Please know that I talk about you each day and share your sweet stories with all who will listen. I love you, I will love you forever.

Thank you everyone for wishing Magic a special birthday. Your posts lifted some of the heaviness out of my heart. I am so lucky to be a part of Boxer World...thank you. I wish I would have known about this web site long before I lost Magic. Magic was always so healthy and happy; our life was good together. I didn't even think about sitting at a computer reading and sharing stories about boxer babies. I guess you can say...I am totally hooked now! Thanks again, I always enjoy reading your posts.

May of last year is when I took you in for your surgery; it was the last month in your life that you were yourself.
