I am thrilled that Holly is doing so well. It sounds like the surgeon sure knows what he is doing. Poor little baby with her purple cast. We are all still sending healing vibes that the little darling is up and around again in no time. We all have a show career to follow. lovicon

Thank you everyone. Genie told me tonight that Holly is doing great! Eating, playing and even put a bit of weight on the foot. That is a good thing. While she won't be walking on it for a while, it is acceptable for her to still use it a bit. The plate is firmly in place and she has a follow up doctor visit tomorrow morning :)

I must've missed this post previously...I'm sorry to hear of Holly's broken leg but happy to hear she is recovering nicely!! Healing vibes from all of here are headed her way<<<<<<heal fast sweet Holly>>>>>

Thank you everyone for all your good thoughts! Holly had her first post-op visit this AM, and everything was great... We have high hopes that she will recover fully and be strutting her stuff in the ring this Spring. Aside from all that, she is just a little heart-stealer, and all the vets and vet techs are falling under her spell! Now, for the convalescence, and trying to keep her quiet and not too active while those bones knit together. And big brother Scrapper is being very careful around her. I think he knows that she needs special treatment right now.

Scrapper-such a good big brother taking care of your sister :) I think Santa should bring you some extra goodies this year !!
