Male or Female prefrence

Now, hear me out, I know that we all love our babies male or female. My question is, do you guys have a prefrence in general.
We currently have two females, I love them both to pieces and would die for them. No questions asked. However, I love the males and there behavior. Im just curious to see what other peoples opinions are.

We have a female and that's what we have always preferred in dogs but we have been persuaded to purchase a male as our second boxer so we are excited for this!

What we found interesting was that the males tend to be cheaper than females so simple economics tells us that females are in higher demand than males.

I have always had a male, ever since I was a kid. (And that was a long time ago)
Dottie is our first female. She can be a little doll, sneaky, jealous, needy, etc.
Let me put it this way: As our breeder said, "They don't call them Bitches for nothing!"
I wouldn't part with Dottie, she is my little princess (at least until tomorrow) but if I were to go out and look for a dog, it would always be a male.

I have kind of a silly reason for preferring males. DH and I have a wonderful 3 year old daughter who has always been a Daddy's Girl-her Dad is her hero, which is very sweet. I like the males, though, that way I get my Mommy's Boy. But, friends of ours have an amazing brindle female that I would take in a second if they ever had to get rid of her-she is the gentlest dog I have ever met. They always laugh when I offer to take her home with me ha-ha!!

we have a male and a female, we love them both to death! rocky is definitely a daddy's boy and mimi is mama's princess for sure. sorry vote cannot be determined in this house. it is kind of like asking someone whether they prefer daughters or sons if they have both. they are definitely different with unique characteristics.

I have one of each and love them both that said I love my big boy more I can't help it shhhhhh don't tell Bella.....I love her to pieces but I don't know Bubba just has a special place in my heart...both are mommies babies and would ignore my husband which irritates him to death...shhhhh don't tell Bella!!!

I always wanted a male just because I know they get bigger. I like bigger dogs.

I always had females my whole life samson is the first male that I have had. well let me tell you he is the apple of my eye. if I knew how sweet males were I would have gotten one sooner.I still love my female mattie but there is something about my little man.

I have always preferred female dogs to male dogs just because they dont tend to mark their territory as much. Another thing i have noticed between the two is that male dogs tend to hump other dogs/people more than females. I do have a male shih tzu but I would still prefer a female dog.

Its kinda funny but I have never gotten along very well with female dogs of any breed. I prefer the male's and have always gotten along with them. Maybe its got something to do with being female myself??:confused:
