After I collect my thoughts more I called the vet back. He said he should get the path report by Saturday to see what grade of melanoma it is....

Don't blame yourself you put trust in your vet. I just had a MCT removed from Brandi, and want to have a lump removed from Caesar because to me it looks a like. The vet said it isn't and I DO trust the office. I am going to have it rechecked in a month and then I may insist on removal anyway, after all Vets are only human and they still can make mistakes.
We will keep sending positive vibes and prayers to Maddie that everything turns out OK.

Maddie doesn't have cancer but had a hemangianoma (sp)???.
