We celebrated X-mas with grandma early so the boxers got to open their presents from her. She got them each a large Wiggly Giggly. In less than 10 minutes Aspen destroyed hers and moved on to poor masons. Mason had a wiggly giggly for 2 years prior to Aspen and not a scratch on it. It is funny how some dogs will destroy their toys while others take very good care of them!!!

They are just like kids, One of my brothers would keep every toy he had in perfect condition so they would last longer then the other would destroy them just for fun.

Cami loved her wiggly giggly for about 7 months, then one day she decided that she didn't like it anymore and once she started in on it the thing was hopeless....it took her about 10 minutes to destroy it also.

Now it is toy heaven....a trashbag in the laundry room with about 50 other not so lucky subjects. I just can't seem to throw them away!

I am absolutely laughing histarically...Oh how I can relate. As soon as you said the toy has gone to a trash bag full of other damaged toys in the laundry room I just busted out laughing. I've got the same bag. Matter of fact, last week I got the bag down mended all the toys. Most toys didn't last 10 min. There were a few that lasted a couple days because everytime Sophie started pulling on a toy or her and Jasmine started playing tug of war with I would put a stop to it. I don't know if your aware of the tirebiters...they are pretty good. It's amazing because Sophie is the littlest one, but does the most damage. I feel so bad because it seems like all I buy anymore are balls (no fuzz). At almost 9 years old Alex likes to put the gingerbread men (baby) in his mouth and it looks like he is nursing it - too cute! Since Sophie and Jasmine tear apart babies poor Alex has no toys.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I'm getting ready to wrap the dog toys I purchased for Christmas.

Harley is very gentle with his toys, but my old boston terrier was not. He would pull a toy apart and get the squeaky out in about 5 minutes. Even the indestructable toys wouldn't last long. I would leave his "toy carcasses" for him because he liked to carry them around and occasionally pull the remaining appendages off.

Haha! We also have a toy heaven--actually it is more like a toy infirmary. Every once in a while I sew the wrecked toys up. The repaired toys last until the next time we dog sit--tug of war between Gracie and another dog is how every toy that has ever been damaged gets damaged.

Grunt's Wiggly Giggly lasted almost 3 months - he LOVED that thing. I had heard so much about it that when I went to a pet boutique and found it, I had to get it for him. It was one of those toys that I kept in a closet and he could only have it when I could watch him. The ball was too chewable and soft, and I knew in time it would be destroyed. Well, it happened, and I now know that boxers are capable of grieving the loss.....of a toy. The look on his face when I took the WG away brought tears to my eyes. He was slinking around for days, looking for it everywhere. I couldn't find another one to buy him, but got him a bad Cuz, which he likes OK - I snipped off the pointy ends of Cuz's horns, because with all the jackhammering and the Cuz flying at Grunt's face, I was afraid those points could do some serious damage to his eyes. Bad Cuz now has little nubbin horns! But, we're still looking for another Wiggly Giggly.

Same here...

Our Wiggly Giggly lasted about 20-30 minutes. I don't think Sebastian ever really intended on playing with it, he just wanted to kill it. hehehe.

On the other hand, he goes bananas for the Bad Cuz. And has yet to put a dent in it. (2 months and still going strong)

I thought my Delilah was the only one who "nurses" on her fuzzy toys. She has 2 hedgehog babies that have mohawks cause she sucks on their heads. I've never seen another doggie do this before!!! She also uses her "fuzzy bone" as a pacifier!!!

my doggies are weird i guess - they are pretty indifferent to the wiggly giggly. It gets bumped around the back yard a little - but otherwise it looks brand new!! My pups LOVE stuffed toys- so i go to the "everthings one dollar" store- yeah they last only a few minutes til they are de-stuffed, but the pups love it!
