Pool Pics

The swimming pictures were a disappointment--lots of reflected eyeballs. I tried to upload 2, but they were denied twice. One of the possible reasons for denial was "offensive images". I certainly hope that was not the case! I am going try again with a digital camera. My brother owes me money; I'll use his.

Well, Mugsy had his first adjustment tonight. He was, as always, a very good boy. We spent about an hour with the vet, mostly talking. He felt subluxations in Mugsy's neck and back. He did three different things with Mugs: one to release endorphins, another to move spinal fluid, and then the adjustment. Mugsy goes back on Monday after his acupuncture appointment, as the doctor said the two procedures will compliment each other if done the same day. Once again, we will hang out and see what happens. I'm not counting on a miraculous, instantaneous recovery, but hopefully it will help. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Hi Allison,

I was just thinking of you and Mugsy and wanted to see how he was doing. Has he had more adjustments? I hope you are enjoying this sunny weekend.

Hey Taryn and Layla! Mugsy has had 3 adjustments so far. The doctor feels that he is making progress with his subluxations. The neurologist who does the acupuncture thinks it great that we have started chiropractic, and our regular vet saw Mugs on Tuesday and is very happy to see that Mugsy is stable, if not, improving. Now that the miserable ice had melted, we are able to see that the left front paw is really becoming more consistent in hitting the ground on toes, rather than knee. We remain optimistic and hope for the best. Mugsy is becoming a great swimmer (with life vest) and is training hard for his beach meeting this summer with the beautiful Layla!

Enjoy the high 40's that are coming our way!

stable, if not improving

Those are the best four words I've heard today!! Kudos to Mugsy for being such a good boy with all his treatments! Kudos to his momma for never giving up!!

Keep us posted as I think I can speak for a lot of BW members when I say Mugsy's story has touched us deeply and you all will continue to be in our prayers!

PS. Layla has been working out to fit into her bikini for her beach date!!!;)
