5:30 AM I get littly pokey whiskers in my face, then a couple of soft little licks. If I don't get up, I get the full blown slobbery licks accompanied by whining!! My Grunt, up BEFORE the crack of dawn, ready for a new day!!

Rocky is a total morning person...he wakes up with a wiggle singing annoying songs like Don't worry be happy and UUUUMMM Bop! I swear I could be mad until my eyes finally open and I see him so excited to start the day! Mia the boston will fight for every last minute of sleep she can get!

Cini will sleep until 6.30am or so and then she begins to whinge. She's on her bed in the lounge and the door to the hallway is shut during the night, so she knows she gets fed at 7am and will get let out to toilet before that. If she's any earlier, which especially happens in summer with such early light, she'll come into bed after being outside. Never before toilet time though, she peed in bed once. In fact, if she ever stayed asleep in her own bed 'til late, I'd think she was sick or something. Our cat will come on the bed at the same time and sit on top of me so close that when she sneezes, I wear it all on my face. She's a persian, so she has a little trouble with her nose.

Jasmine is truely the early bird. We do get up weekday mornings about 5:30 AM. However, on occasion she will get me up about 4 or 4:30 AM. There was one morning a few weeks ago DH questioned me later that day if Jasmine whined to go out. I said no I felt like someone was staring a hole through me so I opened my eyes and there she was with her ears tucked back. Hailey on the other hand has never woken me up to go out early. Once they go out though they are alittle ancious to be fed. When I turn on the fireplace and sit down. Hailey will then fall asleep in front of the fireplace and Jasmine will curl up in my lap and they both could sleep almost to 10 AM if I'd let them.

I wish....

I don't even need an alarm clock in my house.....both my dogs are up at 5am every day, no matter what, and looking for their breakfast. During the week we do get up at 5am, but on the weekends when we would like to sleep in it is pretty impossible too.

It's all I can do to get Diesel to wake up in the mornings. This morning, he was sacked out and all he wanted was a belly rub. Indy (boston foster) was ripping around, all excited to be up and going outside, and he just picked up his head, yawned, and flopped it down again. Lazy boy! I only got him up by hugging and talking to Indy - he gets so jealous when I give her attention.

Ours are both different...

Max is a big lug and wants to sleep in and always lays in bed for about 15 minutes after you wake up...lol...Harlie on the other hand is ready to go the second you make a move!

Boy I wish Koda would sleep in. He's up between 6:00-6:30 every morning and is still getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom (some nights he sleep till 6:00 w/out waking up, but not usually). He's slowly learning that mom is kind of grumpy that early in the morning, especially on the weekends and won't play with him much. So he's slowly getting where I can get him to come back to bed with me and get him to sleep till maybe 7:30, and that's if I am lucky.

He'll stand over me in the bed and stare at me, or I get the nice cold nose in the face. Our Dalmatian will sleep forever if Koda would let him...lol

No and I wish she was. I get up at 430 during the work week, so on weekends, Zoey lets me "sleep in" until 5. We get up and go out and then she runs past me, upstairs and into my spot on the bed, complete with her head on my pillows. Needless to say, I don't get much sleep on the weekends either.
