I'm Jennifer Swiper's Mom. We adopted Swiper 3 years ago at just under the age of 2. He is a WONDERFUL dog and I can't comprehend why his previous parents would want to get rid of him! He is our first boxer and we are hooked.
His health:We have already had 2 mast cell tumor surgeries..paws crossed for no more. He has congenital tricuspid valve issues...not cardiomyopathy yet tho! Just a class 4 heart murmur. He has a wonderful cardiologist. He currently has a flair up of what I like to call baldy dog syndrome (season flank alopecia). He is on Melatonin currently and is improving.
His loves: Riding in the car..being anywhere and everywhere you are! Climbing in my lap all 86 lbs of him. All kids, all dogs. Going for walks/hikes when it is not hot! We took him for his first beach trip in Oct he LOVED it!
His buddies: Spunky: 16 year old diabetic cat
Coco and Pierre:8 year old yorkies we babysit
Sheba: gammies 13 year old black lab
Max: gammies 18 month old? new english setter rescue
Soon to be determined boxer rescue which brought me here!
