I'm so sorry for your loss, but I do think that what you're doing, writing things that you and him, or just he loved to do, will help with the healing process. Again, sorry.

We are so sorry for your loss and we know your pain all too well. We cry just about 3 times per day, but our tears are healing tears. We lost our Jazzy on January 29th - she was 8 1/2 years old. Acute liver failure possibly due to a prescription drug (Metacam) stole her from us without warning. Tonight with friends and family we say goodbye and bury her here under a garden we will build in her honour. I built her a nice coffin, dug a burial spot close to our house and we will bury her with tears, but we will have a nice wake to remember all of the good times she shared with everyone who loved her.

Your Harley is waiting for you, and he will be patient. He will be laying in a sunny spot, on his back, feet in the air. He'll never forget your love of him, nor his of you. Remember him and cry - you will heal - as surely as you will be with him again forever.

Hugs

Your memories of Harley are very touching and sweet, and it's good that you can recall them now when you are hurting so bad. Maybe it's his way of coming to you to let you know he's OK, that he loves you, and every minute he had with you and your family. The pictures in your gallery are beautiful - what a gorgeous big boy. The ones of him with your little boy and your dad are really special. Thank you for sharing them, and your memories with us. Rest in peace, Harley.
