If only you could have seen this!!

DH and I were taking the boys out for their nightly walk when we come upon a man coming towards us with FIVE labs. As we get closer I realize only one dog is on a leash. I say to DH, is this guy nuts they are going to go crazy, Ryker is walking nice just ignoring them, Ozzy is flipping and going crazy "dogs to play with oh boy" as they approach not one dog moves towards us, they just keep walking by, I turn and say to the man, thats incredible!!! he says when you have five, THEY HAVE TO LISTEN. I feel like an idiot, five dogs and they just ignore us and here is Ozzy, flipping, walking backwards just a total clown he walks by with five and I can't even get mine to walk straight.

I'm still amazed!

I'm always astounded when I see dogs who are so highly trained (and envious because Ronin isn't even close) My neighbor has a Lab who's trained for bird hunting. It's really incredible to watch that dog go through her routine. She won't budge an inch until her owner gives her a command, and always returns to his side and sits right down. I would still rather have a mushy, silly Boxer though

Oh well...at least my crazy boxer provides me with much needed cardio and strength exercises from the pulling of the lead!

I am LMAO!! This struck me SO funny b/c I could not even imagine it in my wildest dreams!!
My Cooper is a perfect gentlemen while walking, my Arley on the other hand takes me for walks....he will chase a LEAF blowing down the street at whatever cost til he gets it!! and lord help me if he sees a frickin squirrel!
So I could not even imagine 5 dogs just walking by oblivious to their surroundings...I must say a job well done and kudos to that guy!!! He must have patience made of steel but then again he does not have boxers!! I wonder why?? He must of wanted a breed that would listen

There is a lady with two labs who live in my subdivision. We have leash laws here so they all have to be on lead when walking. However her one lab is on lead but he carries the entire leash in his mouth when he walks. He stays right beside her trotting along carrying his leash like a good boy. It's so cute!

I was in our local Petsmart on Saturday and there was a family there with 8 Great Danes !! I've seen him in there before but usually only with 3.He also has a bulldog and a terrier. Those furbabies listened so well to daddy.It was like watching a drill team perform. One of his girls is deaf and he signs to her.It is really something to watch them together. Then I think abour Dozer who thinks it's his only purpose to catch me off guard and haul me around behind him We are working on this little problem of his and he's getting better but can anyone tell me how to get my arms both the same length again?

That is amazing and awesome! Coco walks pretty good (much better since we use a harness) but she has her moments like squirrels and birds. She wants those critters real bad... If another dog comes by, she will do okay but I have to constantly be reinforcing it. I have to say Coco, be nice, stay here, be nice, stay here, be nice. We usually just stop. It makes her crazy but she will as long as I"m telling her. She does get the leash as taunt as she possibly can tho. I suppose we better work on continuing to walk with distractions but it will come with time.

:cool: that is so kool!! I would just be cracking up if I saw that, dogs are just so smart it amazes me!!
