My poor husband. It happened to him. He just filed charges against his secretary of only three months. Forgery, embeselment, and identity theft. Geez, I can't even spell them, but I am fast learning the meaning of them.
There are thousands of dollars that she has stolen, opened credit cards in his name. The kicker is her husband is a cop, and they have two children under two.
Everyone is in shock, we realy liked her.
Please pray for my family and for her two children.

Oh man, that's horrible. I wish him success in straightening this out. I think the fact he knows WHO did it will help a little, won't it? By that I mean, he can put an end to it without the fear someone out there will try to open a new credit card account, etc.

Thanks so much everyone.
This is so hard for us. I have gone to being so furious I could not think straight, being so scared that she could take away everything we have. I just can not understand how she could do this to us. We do have a wonderful life and I think she was just jelouse. My husband is a very succesful business owner and I do not have to work. We have a great marriage. She has had a hard life, and just decided we have it too good.
It's so hard, my husband was so good to her. He just is way to trusting.
I think, and pray, that we have found everything that she has done. If so, we are ok. It's just the unknown that scares me. The credit company says that there could be stuff that she has opened that we will not findout about for 6 months. Great. That sucks.
I just hope that is not the case and we know everything.

Yes, no new cards can be opened. We have contacted the social security and all the credit company's, if anyone uses any of these things they have to call him on his cell phone and get a verbal OK.
At least we can give a name when something comes up charged. That happened tonight. There was a $300 payment to an account under her husbands name. I have a hard time believing that a POLICEOFFICER knew that a false credit card was paying his bill. I think he is going to have a HUGE wakeup call. Poor guy. They just got married in December. I am affraid that he will loose his job. These are felony charges that are being filed. And they are both young, early 20's. Talk about a way to ruin your life.

Wow Mandy, I feel so badly for you and your family. Identity theft is a big fear of mine. I hope you have found out everything she has done. It just really ticks me off that your husband works hard for all that you both have, and she has the nerve to try and steal from you! Please keep us posted on how things progress.
Good luck.

It is hard to understand how people can be so dishonest, and still sleep at night. My sister had a problem last year. Thankfully, it was only a phone bill and no credit cards, but the police didn't want to bother with just one little $600.00 account, so my sister tracked this person down. The person had worked for a credit agency and although my sister has never had problems, this gal got her Social Security number and home address and opened the account???

I expect you have done it, but have you also notified the three main Credit companies? They should have a big RED Flag on your names and SS numbers.
