I was trying to make dinner tonight and I could not get this thread out of my head. I stopped making dinner and I had to get on here and tell you how my heart is breaking for you! I could not type anything today for fear of crying at work. BW is like one big family and when someone's world turns upside down it is like it is happening to all of us (I cry for you as I type this). I can not even begin to think what you are going through but you do know we are all here for you! Many, many thoughts, prayers and HUGS to you!!!

Thanks for all your messages, I really need to hear I am doing the right thing, I don't have family around who understand how I feel about my boxers so to come here and get some support from you all is a comfort. I am in tears a lot at the moment, I knew it was going to be hard but it will be so difficult for me tomorrow. I hope and pray that Angel will be happy :(

I am so sorry. This must be unbearably hard for you. You posts have made me cry. We all know how much you love her. Just take comfort in knowing that dogs don’t anguish and worry like we do. As long as Angel is going to a nice place she will adjust.

Is there any chance the breeder will rehome her? Or did they promise to keep her forever?

Stay strong Louise, I'll be thinking of you today. I know she is your baby girl and your so worried about how she's going to be but you know she'll get into the car and head off on a whole new big adventure, she'll see new things, be meeting new dogs, a new house & garden to investigate and she'll be loved and cared for just as well as you did

We all like to think that our dogs can't manage without us and will pine and mope missing us but you know when we got Sophie at about 2 years old she jumped into our car without a backward glance, charged round our house, ate Connors dinner then jumped into bed with me and fell asleep - she was never depressed or down just ran round getting to know her new surroundings, played with Connor and got on with it as if nothing had changed for her at all.
