Yes, it has been pretty cold, sometimes in the negative degrees. It seems like that may have been when he started to regress and now he just keeps going inside.

Our buddy Hooligan is 6 months old, and as soon as the snow got deep and the temp went below zero, he turned into a big baby and started going potty inside. Or he would run out to pee and then come in and poop on the floor. It was the worst for us, but I guess I can't blame him!
When he was around your puppy's age, he didn't like to go out in the rain either.
Now that the weather is starting to get mild again, he is doing better. I even had a hard time getting him to come BACK in today!

Keep up the good work.

Oh boy do I know what you are going through. Scooter, my rescue is 10 months old and not potty trained. Doesn't give a signal, I take him out frequently, but still find prizes. Hopefully it will begin to sink in soon.

Chief is almost five months! He's doing pretty well... but as you all have been saying, he still has his moments. Usually... he wimpers a little and that is his only sign. I really have to pay attention to him at all times. As soon as I hear that wimper, I need to exit his bum right away. And he usually goes. Then I give him a treat immediately. I've learned to take the treats right out with me (from advice from fellow BW members). :) It's a slow process... but I have faith that the puppy packages will be found outside more that inside soon!

Dozer was fully trained at 12 weeks but he always hiccuped when he had to go pee or poop and it made it very easy. I never knew how easy until Diesel came along...He was pretty hard to get pointed in the right direction I thought at times he'd never get it and then at about 6 months it all clicked and it has been fine. You are not alone, there is a Boxer female in Diesel's training class who is over a year and they still are working with her. So hang in there it could be a while. ;)

I had to laugh when your complaint was that your 11 week old puppy wasn't housebroke. After Five whole weeks. Wow are you in for a long road. Wait for adolesence and the real fun begins.
