Super Boxer
In the morning when we come downstairs, Sammi assumes the postion in front of the closet where I keep their food. She just stares, not moving a muscle, unless I don't open it immediately, then she sneaks a look at me every few minutes until I do what she wants. In the afternoon, they get fed at 4:00, so at 3:45 she comes over and starts reminding me that it's almost time. It's some kind of internal clock they have!;)

:) Cute topic. Ginger whines & cries. Sometimes she will also go over where her dish is supposed to be and look in the empty spot. Sometimes she just stares at the empty spot too. Oh my if I am a minute late feeding her at dinner, oh boy do we get the nasty look.:D

My animals have open food bowls here. The cats are more dramatic than the dogs are. All animals get their food dishes filled at our bedtime (which is anywhere from midnight to 3am). Gunner rarely eats all the food from the night before so if he gets hungry he'll go in and snack a little. Of course he gets scraps here and there from us. Mostly breads since we're doing Atkins right now and boy is he sure happy about getting the pizza crusts all the time! The cats on the other hand.. the later it gets, the crazier they act. If you start walking down the hallway towards the bedroom (this is where all of their dishes are) both cats go running in front of you and sit and wait. Most times that's not where we're going and next thing you know, they're coming back out and looking at you like HEY...

Boxer Buddy
Champ will usually paw at the pantry door if I'm in the kitchen. He knows his food and treats are kept there. Otherwise, he'll paw at his dish until someone hears him and comes to investigate the noise.

Super Boo

Completely Boxer Crazy
I always feed them around 5pm. If it's getting close and I don't look like I'm going to remember (according to Boo:rolleyes: ), Boo will push me with her nose repeatedly and whine.

Boo never misses a meal. Skye could care less. He eats when he thinks about it.

Boxer Pal
My boxer rings his bell that he is supposed to ring when he wants to go outside. I'm not sure who is training who.:)

Oh don't you just love how the animals always sit near where the food is kept? As if to say.. look.. here is where it's kept. Like we forget on a daily basis
