Sometime's Boru will stare at me with a big grin. Then start beaning when I ask if he is hungry. Other times he licks his bowl, making it clang in the holder. :)

Xena has almost no interest in food. Sometimes I forget to feed her and wonder when was the last time I fed her?

Funny you should ask... LOL

I work from home some days and today I was tied up well after 6... dinner time is usually 5:30 or so .. since we've been raw feeding I do her food first and then I do ours... she takes a while chewing and playing... so she finishes about the time we do. LOL

So I'm at my computer and she comes in and paws me like she does when she needs to go out... I had my son come and take her outside (because I was honestly TOO tied up) and he brought her right back in, said she peed quickly but whined at the door (which she doesn't ever do coz she LOVES to be outside, you almost have to drag her in)

So she does this 3 or 4 times... and goes to her bowl and looks... and then comes back to me... and stares...............................................................................................................................................................................................................

LOL I gave in and made her dinner and then finished my work. The client was gone home by then so it probably didn't matter. Hahahaha

Vic always paws when she needs something... to go out, or to play... or to eat... apparently. LOL She's relatively polite. HAHAHAHA

My girl Kira would stand by the "offending" (ie empty) bowl, look at you and hit the edge of it with her paw so it would bang on the floor. If you were too slow for her satisfaction she would flip it over..whether there was anyhting left in the bottom or not. A food bowl that you could see the bottom through the food was not adequately full. It had to have more. Oh yeah..she did this with the water bowl too.

Duke just stands/sits by the bowl and looks at you. If you aren't in the room, he will find you and stand and look at you as if to say"come on, there is something you need to do". Sometimes he will nudge it arouhd the floor.

Chloe leaves it up to Duke to get the food bowl filled.

Cyper picks up both his food and water bowls and drags thems to what ever room we are in and then just licks them. If we don't get up right away he just lays there and sighs like he is going to die. Then you fill his bowl and he ignores it!:D

They all have their own way of telling me.

Nilla, just goes to her bowl and starts moving it around, she not shy about making sure we know. When she she wants food....SHE WANTS FOOD.

Tuffy, just goes to where we store the food and tries everything he can to figure out how to get into it. So we usually know when we hear the sounds of him trying to dig in to the bin.

Ginger is more calm about it. She just stares and stares till she gets feed. They of course she acts as if she didn't really want it, till we walk away. Then it feeding time.

ginger grabs her steel bowl and then kicks it around the tile floor. Very noisy so you have to feed her if you want any peace & quiet!
