Indy's mom

Boxer Insane
Indy is actually Indiana. Our youngest son, is a huge Inidiana Jones fan. During the 3rd movie there was a line where Sean Connery was asking Harrison Ford why everyone called him Indy, after all that had been the dogs name. Harrison Ford's response was that he had always loved that dog.

Mike asked if our next dog could be named Indiana. And so he is! :)

Blakesoak

Boxer Pal
Our Baby is called Blake. We came up with his name from an 80s Tv Series Blakes7, i'd been made to watch it loads as a child and always thought the name was cool so i persuaded my boyfriend to call him it. Although blake does also answer to pudding, much to my boyfriends despair when he's shouting him when walking!!!

Hank is Hank because of my sister naming him after...you guessed it...Hank Williams Jr. I kind of changed it to Hankydoodle Dandy though. He get's called Hankydoodle most of his waking moments anyway!

Rommel is named after the WWII "Desert Fox". He was a General in the German Army who committed suicide after he was found out of a plot to kill Hitler. I gave my husband naming rights and that's what he chose. Go figure!

I had came up with either Abby or Maggie, but was having a hard time on which one to choose. So I got on the phone and called my best friend asked him if he and his daughter, Bethany, could come to the house because I had a minor problem that I needed help with. When they showed up, Bethany said she liked the name Abby better, because Maggie sounded like an old womans name. So, that's how ABBY got her name. It was decided by a 5 year old girls viewpoint.

Cooper is named after the MINI Cooper car. My DH sells MINIs for a living and is the president of our car club. He is our club mascot. :)

Scrappysmom

Completely Boxer Crazy
We adopted Scrappy from the Humane Society and his name was from his previous owner. We were going to call him Houdini, because he was an escape artist at first, but we didn't want him to live up to his name. He has settled into his home and no longer tries to escape and we have grown to love the name, after Scooby Doos nephews character.

Lola's mum

Boxer Insane
Dh named Lola, i loved the name and thought it was nice & girlie.

Zebedee was the bounciest in his litter so was named after a bouncy, springy character from 'The Magic Roundabout'

Casper was named by my daughter because he's white (Casper the friendly ghost)

Biff

Boxer Insane
DH always wanted a red brindle boxer boy called Biff, so that's what we named him. (Children's book - Biff the Boxer )

Buttons was originally to be named Lily, as I imagined her to be a sweet, white, innocent, cuddly little girl. DH wasn't keen though, and when on holiday (she was still only 4 weeks old) I looked at her picture and said without thinking, "Awwww, my wee Buttons!" The name stuck, and I think it suits her mischievous nature (she's definitely not what I imagined my Lily to be ! )

When we were waiting for Harry to be old enough to collect we must have thought of dozens of names! BF named Harry and it suited him and his laid back personality!
Ruby is a name I have always loved, I imagined naming my daughter Ruby growing up. BF's surname rhymes with Ruby and any child would be teased! So when we decided to get a girl, there was no discussion, Ruby she was!
