Amy,

So i take it that wasnt your Lily that mydaisygoof posted?? As i was reading the thread i was really hoping that was her, but i guess not since you didnt mention it.

Do you still have both of those addresses? I wonder if any of the board members might live near any of them and could do a drive by for you to see if she's around.

My boxer is named Lily too. I really hope your Lily will be found and returned to you. I just said a little prayer to St. Francis and St. Anthony for you.

Idiot dognappers. I hope she pees on them. Maybe she is awaiting her moment for escape....

No, that wasn't my Lily. I do not have exact addresses. The men gave Kentucky ID's, but a Warsaw, In address. That address we didn't get. We only had the city that there Id's said on there driver's license. I have talked to all the authority in both towns. The police and animal shelters all have her picture and aware of the situation. They have many warrents out for there arrests, so I am just hoping that one day they will be caught. Thank you everyone for the support. All this support has helped me heal.

don't loose hope

I was working with cocker rescue on a stray that was at the shelter. I advised that this baby was there and when his release date was up. The rescue called the shelter to see if he's passed the health check and to say they were going to pull him.

Here's what the shelter had to say....

I couple came in to adopt a cocker. They had lost their's over a year ago and decided it was time to add another to their family again. Who do they find...but their own dog sitting in the kennels!! The woman almost passed out! They shelter said that they had to pay the fees a person would have to pay to 'bust' their stray from the pound....kennel fees, fine, rabies shot, etc - which is much higher than the regular adoption fee. Of course she didn't care, she just wanted her dog back!!!

They have no idea where their dog had been for the past year and will probably never know. But stranger things happen, so please keep your faith with Lily.

I have been reading your story and I can't believe it. I am so sorry and I am praying that some day soon she be back home.

After reading I started doing some research and looking online. I came across this web page:

www boxerrescuelist com ( go to lost and stolen )

and you can search through missing, found or stolen Boxers. You can even post a picture of her their as well, which may be worth it you never now.

please email back

I am not going to say much but this. I have family Kentucky and am going out there soon. If you reaaly want your dog back email me and my husband will look for your dog at those addresses if you still have them. A boxer owner always takes care of their boxer family.

Thank-you so much for the offer to go look at this address, I appeciate it so much. Unfortunately, the men didn't give a Kentucky address, they only gave a Warsaw, In address. They had Kentucky ID's, but we never had an actual address for them in Kentucky. Thanks again for your help, you all have been wonderful!

I have read this whole thread while clutching my Loki. I am curious whatever happened. Did you get any new leads on Lilly? And how is Sumo doing?
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Loki sends big boxer hugs, kidney beans, and drooley kisses.

So sorry. I meant to ask, How is Rowdy doing?
The name Sumo was stuck in my head because I read about a couple members with pups with that name.
Has Rowdy become a mama's boy yet? Or, is still daddy's boy?

Rowdy is wonderful, he is my baby boy! He still does seem to favor his dad though, but he still loves me too. I still bring him to work with me everyday. He is our office mascot!

I am however going to have to stop babying him so much, because my husband and I just found out that we are expecting our first child. Rowdy won't be the only baby anymore. We have already had him around our friends childeren and he loves them. So, I am sure he will be very happy to have the new member of the family. He may be a little upset not to be the only baby anymore though! He is spoiled so bad that my husband gets kicked off the couch so that Rowdy and I can cuddle!

I still miss my Lily, and still hope that one day she will return, but having Rowdy has helped a lot.

Thanks again for all the support through this tough time in my life.
