The wipes do work to help keep pups clean between baths.

We moved into our new house in May 2004 and our house has no carpet in it anywhere. The smell has improved a lot! We have two pups and two cats and 3 boys, our carpet was never really CLEAN! There has got to be a way to keep your wife happy. Perhaps if your pup comes in the house he has to stay off the furniture to give her some space. Is the doggie bedding getting washed regulary? This can help. Good luck!

i think your wife just needs to deal with it.. plain and simple. Its not fair to keep the dog outside just because he smells "like cornchips". You can get animal perfume to make him smell better.

Yeah you are all kinda of right...my wife is awesome and everything but an animal lover not really except for parrots...its tough having my dog outside trust me.Even though I sneak him in when I have a chance..

Ok Elyse... How do you guys have the dog in bed... Daisy takes up our whole bed... I tried to move the other night and couldn't... She had me pinned... Then she snores... omg... She shakes the bed... Not to mention she runs and barks in her sleep... I have to put her on her bed... she is like dead weight... I tried to get her off the bed and she doesn't wake up... I roll her onto her bed which she never moves... what really cracks me up is when she falls off the bed she never wakes... But you get out of bed to tinkle... she is right there... weird...

I have a really sensitive nose and didn't want my house to smell like dog. Now, Porter is my dog, so I am the one actively getting rid of smell. Something I bought at Petsmart that has totally saved the house is these wipes made by Natures Miracle. They are for wiping down the dog and naturally get rid of the odor by getting rid of what causes the odor rather than masking it. They do not have alcohol in them and do not seem to dry out his skin at all. And, they smell really good! I wipe him down a couple of times a week, and then spray down his bed between washing with Nature's Miracle. I also occasionally mist my carpet with Nature's Miracle. My house does not smell like dog and Porter does not smell. Hope you can work it out. Your boxer will be so sad in the tool room!

Carla, I am going to HAVE to go get some of those wipes!! Not for Samson, he dosen't really smell, but for our long-haired smelly dog:)

Beaudreaux1- Can you compromise with your wife? Tell her that you will brush him and wipe him down daily in order to let him inside. Might work.

I actually caught my hubby smelling Nestle's feet and giggling. He thinks they smell like popcorn and would like to create a perfume called "nestle's feet"

I think everything about her is perfect but... that is a bit nutty!!!

I think you should try to get your wife to spend a little time with your baby and maybe she will come around.
