Would you believe I've come across my first doggy hiccupper. (Zak) I've never heard a dog with hiccups before and they sound so funny. I've also got a dog (Cinda) who loves to be massaged from neck to hind hocks, and will sit still and almost croon with delight at the lovely sensations. (I'd do the same, come to think of it!)
Right now I've four dogs for two weeks and so far so good. I thought Max the entire Black Lab wouldn't like Zak the pup but it's Jess the Boxer who thinks he's an intruder. They're my daughters' dogs and visit often, it's actually Zac out of his insecurity that snaps at them. He'll get to know his place with us soon enough.
Well folks, it's Christmas Day tomorrow (Saturday our time) so I wish all of you a wonderful, safe holiday and enjoy yourselves. God Bless.

Little puppy hiccups crack me up! The first time Sirus got the hiccups I got them too from laughing so darn much! He sounds just like a little person...and his poor body convulses something aweful! And he looks at me with sad, sad eyes...as to say..."Mommy! Stop laughing at me...make them go away! PLEASE!" Too, too funny though!

Hiccups are very common in boxer puppies. You can tell Zac that they will go away when he grows up. lol:

Owen is nearly 2 and still has the hiccups a couple times a week. He hangs his head and makes the saddest eyes at me like I did it to him  !

This is to funny. Gregory has had the hiccups tonight and last night. I scratch his little chest until the go away. About 10 minutes of love for the little fellow.

Poor Lexi, 7 weeks old, gets the hiccups at least 2-3 times a day. The poor thing...her whole body shakes terrible w/ each hiccup. I wonder if it hurts?
My husband has tried to scare them out of her, but so far, it hasn't worked.
Our other boxer had them too she was little too. But she is grown up now and no more hiccups.

:LOL: I always laughed when Tomi had them. I thought something was wrong with him. Especially, the first time I saw him drool at the park. OMG! I thought he had rabies or something!
