Hi my name is Heather and I have a 4 month old white boxer. I was worried about her because of the size of her nose. But both parents have papers and so does she. Anyone know why it might be so long? Bad blood line maybe?

It's possible that breeding is to blame. It doesn't necessarily mean a bad bloodline, but just that the two breeding dogs were not a good match (i.e. if the dam has a longer muzzle then the sire should have a shorter muzzle to balance it).

However it could just be her growing; boxer pups have longer muzzles at that age. I used to wonder the same thing about my white puppy; her nose was SO long, not very boxer-like I thought, but she definitely grew into it
