Boxer Pal
Hi, my husband and I just rescued a boxer/beagle mix named Sophie. She's roughly 4 years old and is a muscular 51 pounds but only comes up to our knees. She was left tied to a shelter door so we don't know much about her. A Saint Bernard rescue center was picking up a Saint Bernard from that same shelter and found her. She was scheduled to be gassed the next day so they saved her and found a foster home that happened to be near us.
Based on how she reacts to things we think she was abused by a man and tied to a tree a lot. The vet also thinks she's had 2-4 litters of puppies. Luckily, now she's in a loving home where she gets three walks a day and lots of attention.
I can't post any pictures until I finish this post but she looks like a short boxer with beagle-looking ears, tail, and nose. She's a flashy fawn color with spots on her belly, nose, and legs.
