My name is Julie and we bought our boxer girl Dixie (Snowbound's Solo Rider) back in June 12,2012. She will be a year old in May and we are totally thrilled to have her and watch her grow to be a beautiful girl.
We are breeders of a different breed, however we have NO plans of breeding our girl Dixie. Currently she is about 70lbs and we believe she might top out real close to 90lbs if not more.
We have 4 kids and our youngest is 5 years and Dixie is her best bud. A little scary at first, however much to our surprise Dixie is just a big baby and would never hurt anyone. Surprised also that she doesn't bark, but we know she can as we heard her one day when a nephew of ours was visiting and he got rough with her...she didn't use her mouth, she just let out a bark to said "hey" and walked off. We loved this as we never taught her to not bite or no bark. She seem to already have known not to.
We wanted to join this site to learn more and to see other boxers around the world.
