Help again, Titan pees on our bed!!!

Titan is 8 months old and is peeing on our bed. He is doing much better with house breaking, but as soon as he gets in our bedroom alone, away he goessmashicon . I don't know what to do he just started this about a month ago out of the blue. We keep our door closed, but our son tends to forget, it is only our bed and there is no specific time our occurence that trigures it. I am at a lose. House breaking has already fried our carpet cleaner, and I am at my wits end:confused:

This may not be expert advice, but what came to my mind is that maybe he's marking his territory. Does he seem jealous of one of you? Maybe he's trying to say, "Hey, this is my spot, don't forget it". Does he sleep with you?

I don't know, just an idea. :confused:

What do you use to clean the bed and bedding? You need to use Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover to remove all traces of the smell.

Wow, I have the same exact problem with my 8 month old! That is so weird. About a month ago, out of the blue one day I went to get in my bed and saw that my girl peed on it. I could not believe it. She has NEVER done that before. I have always had housetraining problems with her and she is getting better but I could not believe she peed on our bed. She sleeps with us every night so thats why I could not understand it. Then a few days later she did it again. Then to top it all off the day I came home I had been washing sheets and stuff for like 3 hours I had just put them back on the bed and I took my eye of her for one second and she did it again!!! I was so upset I just broke down. Well, I do not feel like she will not do it again if I give her the chance. But now I do not even give her a chance to go in the house. Every time I am in the living room watching tv I put up a baby gate so she can only be where I can see her. I feel like I watch her like a hawk. She has slowly got better about peeing in the house. I do not however understand the bed thing. Why all of a sudden did she do that? I hate to give her such strict access to roam but until I can trust her thats what I will have to do. If I cannot keep an eye on her I put her in her kennel, which she doesnt really care for, but that is another story. I have gotten all kinds of advice on the housetraining issue and probably tried every one of them but this is what I have found to help. Hope it helps.

Dont allow him on the bed under any circumstances. I know you dont want to hear this because we boxer owners like our dogs sleeping at the foot of the bed, but it sounds to me like its a territory problem and the only way to solve it is to keep him off of the bed. That means never allow him on the bed at all. If you say he is house broken and the bed is the only place he wets then he need to stay off.

OH NO!! That's just awful. I am in the middle of potty training and Emma sleeps with us on our bed. She has never peed on it before, but now you have me all nervous. UGH! smashicon Do you think he's getting back at you for something? Our friends boxer is like that. If they promise a ride in the car and he doesn't get to go, he will eat the cushions on the couch or pee in their shoes. It's really wierd how he knows, but it happens everytime. Keep us posted on what might work for you, I might need that info in the future. ;)

Titan has nevered slept with us, we had such a hard time house breaking him that he spends the night in his crate, he is never permitted on the bed and I have now idea how to rehousebreak him, as was suggested. I do know if this keeps up I'm either going to breakdown or my washing machine will.
