Hi, I just joined the boxer forum although I've viewed it several times for advice over the past few months. I've been struggling with finding a food that worked for my guy, Apollo who is now almost 10 months old. We had just switched to Canidae Lamb and Rice formula and things were going great until the formula change - NOW, he has loose stools, he's shedding A LOT, he stinks AND he's been eating poop!
I came back to see if I could find some other food through the nutrition forum but wanted to join to share my experience with Apollo. It's been awful. I've read a lot of things on the internet regarding the complaints about Canidae's formula change and fortunately my guy has not had bloody stools or vomitting but I've definitely noticed a change in his behavior amongst the other bad side effects. BUT how many dogs are now sick due to the change, I personally was unaware. It just makes me so sad. I hope word gets out so that the poor pups can eat and enjoy their food, not become ill from it!
