Wow that was really nice of you to take your new puppy in. I really hate when people take them beat them and dont want them any longer. My dogs have always been like my children, I would do anything for them.
Well, I also have a new puppy Geania. She is a female boxer.When going to pick her out I could not make up my mind what one i wanted.So I had my daughter get one,and my stepson.hehehehe Now we have 3. And i have a dog that i saved from the shealter 8 years ago.(he is not a boxer)BUt we love him also. And he is so happy to have all of them chasing him around the house.

Welcome to Boxerworld! You sound like a wonderful parent!! I just checked out his pic and he's ADORABLE. I just want to smooch his little mushy face! Hopefully you have taught the "man" that beat him a lesson about having a dog and the proper way to care for one. I'm sure Nitro thinks he's in doggie *heaven*! By the way, my boy Tyson is about 60 lbs and he too is SOLID muscle, but doesn't look HUGE like larger breeds. I remember wishing he would be bigger, but now I love the fact that he's not enormous because he still packs a wallop and his strength is always a shock to others! LOL

You all have been so helpful,Since I signed in this forum,I thought I would ask a question?
I really did not know where to post this question so bare with me if it is in the wrong place.
I have all the pappers from the previous owners except for one,It is at the pet store and I have to go with the buyer of the pup and then have it redone with my name on it as the owner,Anyways the pup "Nitro" is Registered through America's Pet Regestry-APR
I have all registration of the parents names and the registration numbers and the breeder name{Breeders name is more like a nick name-"Bacon"
Is ther any website I can research this pups past?and can he get AKC registered?
I am not going to breed or show this boy of mine ,Just asking questions,And would love to be able to say he is a AKC puppy.

AKC papers are just that... papers. A lot of people brag" My dog is AKC". but doesn't prove quality. I've seen a Maltese/Poodle cross with AKC papers! And have heard of a prick eared Lab that has AKC papers! So, they're not all that important, unless you plan on showing, or becoming a serious breeder.

That is what the pet store said,The ladie said that with American Pet Registry,And knowing the background of the breeder.It just lets me know that he is a pure breed Boxer that comes from a pure breed line.And the AKC would be for showing or I f I wanted to breed and get morwe money out of the puppy.
With Nitro,I know he is A true pure breed by the way he looks,But if he had 3 leggs and was blind and had 7 ears,With his heart and emotions he shows,I would not really matter at this point-LOL
I wonder if the American Pet Registry can be investegated online?

Type up American Pet Registry in an online search, and maybe you'll be able to find something that will help.

I bought a nicer camera and now I can not up load any pics at all of Nitro,Says file exceeds 100K,I really don't understand.I shrink the pick done,Same size as before when I uploaded.Not sure really whats going on,Any help would be great,Or tell me where to post Question,I know it is not Boxer realated but I have some sweet pics of my boy and have been trying for 3 days to uplaod.

The only way I can get the pictures to upload is to change the size of them in my photo editor to pixel's. I think it is like 75 or so I can't remember to upload them here. But I just change it in the picture editor and save it to desktop so after I upload them to here I can delete them from desktop. That way it does not change the original picture in my film roll. I use Cannon Photo EditorII. As far as the Kennel Clubs. You can register with CKC Continental Kennel without knowing much of the history. NKC National Kennel and WKC World Kennel too from what I have read.
