To all that has been on this thread with me and Nitro,We just got back fro the Cardio Vet,And we have been blesses.Ultrasound and EKG are perfect,Doctor said test where so outstanding that no xrays were needed,Was very cool looking at each heart valve as is funtioned and each muscle of the heart as it worked,And than switch the machine to measure size of each item(muscles, valves and arteries).EKG was pretty cool too,As we noticed the monitor a dog walked by the room and Nitros rate went up 100 from where it was at 120 to over 210 and in a matter of seconds it went right back down,That was pretty cool to see.Doctor was quit amazed at his heart condition,He was talking all this murmor and artery and heart valve and mussle mumbo jumbo,That is serious, but Terms I did not understand,But he said as of right now Nitro is In awesome condition,He siad that it can change as he gets older though,So he said If I can afford it.In his opinion Boxers should be done every 6 months,But at least once a year.(Cost was $212.00)Depends on what the owner wants. But if I see any difference in his actions to have it done ASAP.Now all he wants is a blood culture done,He said to make sure that Nitro's blood can break down the anesthesia that will be used to put him under for neutering.I have to say that I like the idea of knowing the real condition of his heart,Some may say it is a waste of money,And yes at this time,Money is real tight I lost a week of work,Tore my back out and had to miss a week,No pay for it either,But yet It was worth the vet bill to know,Really eases thing at home with Nitro.
So thanks for listening and to all you Guys that made me and Nitro feel right at home,As we a new comers to this site and have received a very warm welcome and helpful information.
Thanks Dwayne and Nitro
