I need to come live where you live. Is there room in the neighborhood? I say this because even though the lady obviously had something wrong with her, you and your family were given a very fair chance to explain your side. So often now as a previous poster said it is your word against theirs. Sound like you have met some nice people, even if it is under sketchy circumstances. Too often, dogs lose teir homes and even sometimes teir lives o peoples ignorrance. I guess this bothers me so much because all dogs want to do is please us and love us, more loyal than anyone else, and yet so often, we turn on hem. I am appreciative of your happy outcome.

WOW!!! Sorry, but I would be absolutely pissed!!!!! This is a serious threat and for this woman not to face any consiquences (sp?) is crazy. She could do this again and next time the poor dog and it's owners won't be so lucky.

Does she still work for the pizza company? Thankfully it had a good ending though

I think there should be rules against people who don't like dogs delivering pizza I babysit for a family that has 3 chesapeake bay retrievers and a weimeraner. They basically live on an estate with its own lake so it is fully fenced. I stay with the kids when their parents are out of town and we've had pizza delivered several times without issue. Most of the delivery people just laugh at all the barking. However, the last time I was there we were expecting pizza and the phone rang. The girl told me that she didn't like the dogs and had the nerve to ask if we could come out to her car and get the pizza! I understand her not wanting to walk through the gate and come to the door with the dogs around but to actually refuse to get out of her car when the dogs were in the house was ridiculous! I'm pretty sure the kids didn't give her a tip!

I agree with those posters who say there should be some legal action against the lunatic woman, who basically lied to the police and risked you losing your sweet puppy. Luckily, everything turned out as it should, but it could have easily gone the other way.
