Harley is really sick!!

He still has no energy just going outside for a minute takes all the energy out of him I got him to eat but not drink his breathing was laboured most of the night I just tried to hug him and he screamed. I wish they had done something for him I need to know what is wrong with him. Has anyone had experience with low red blood cells before? and what caused it? the vet just told us its something serious.

I am hoping Harley is doing better soon! I am glad it wasn't his heart, and I have no experience with dogs being anemic. I just know that when I was anemic myself, all I wanted to do was sleep and not move.

Roma - I'm so glad to hear that Harley's heart is good. I noticed you said something about too much stool in his belly to do an X-ray. I don't know alot about these things but maybe he is constipated? Could that be causing all the symptoms? I will continue to pray for good news and a swift recovery for sweet Harley.
