Got a nasty letter from garbage company

So he tells me that he flings them into the street at night when no one is looking. Since we live on a busy street, the cars run over it and take it away. First that is gross, second probally against the law and third, what if I am driving over it too? No more poo flinging in our house, after a lengthy conversation, he has agreed to use the bags too. Kinda funny, kinda gross, just had to share.

OMG that is sooo funny we have a big bucket with a tight lid, we pick up the poo and empty into there which is lined with a strong garbage bag and then doubled and put out on garbage day.

We recycle our plastic grocery bags and pick up poop daily (my 11 yr olds job for which he is handsomely paid). All bags knotted up and put into out trash bin that is picked up weekly...no problems. Maniago is right though...there is a lot less poop with a raw diet, we have to pick up daily because my 2 yr old likes to walk barefoot in the grass.

worst part is our neighbor doesnt have a dog....... he just dont like him.....

I can't see the problem then. I know people that dump used cat little directly into the dumpster. If dog doo is a problem what about diapers? They're no better. Would everyone have to find an alternate form of disposal for them?

We have a small garbage can in the backyard. We put the waste in it, double bag it and put it out with the rest of the garbage. The garbage men don't say anything since we keep it pretty well contained.

At first I would use plastic bags. Now I went and got a medium sized kitchen garbage can, stick a white garbage bag in it and fill it 1/4 to 1/2 full. Then on garbage day I throw it out with the rest of the trash. Not really any difference between it and baby poop, except the size.

When I lived in NC, we were not allowed to put poop with the yard clippings/waste either. They explained that they recycle the yard clippings into fertilizer and dog poop isn't part of this process. Poop was to go with the regular house waste which goes to the dump.

We use sandwich bags (ziploc type) and plastic bags from shopping, and toss into the dumpster for our building (garbage pickup twice weekly). We haven't had any complaints, but I have seen diapers that have fallen out of garbage bags that were not securely knotted, and THAT has gotten complaints!! Gross!!

I was thinking the same thing . Maybe you might consider a different garbage company.
